The hotel is located in a calm area outside the centre, making it a peaceful and relaxing choice for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. With a metro station nearby, it's still incredibly convenient to travel around. Another great aspect of this hotel is the helpful and friendly staff who are always ready to assist. Lastly, the rooms with a balcony offer a lovely spot to enjoy the fresh air and take in the views.
No significant negatives were mentioned, this hotel ticks all the boxes!

Clean room and well kept. The staff was very helpful with getting around info.
Hot water took way too long to warm up and the area wasn't all that great.

Staff provided superb excellent and they spoke English very well. I asked lot of questions and all of them were willing to answers all questions. Thank you very much. I recommend other readers to select this hotel if you do not mind walking around 10 minutes. My father and I had no problem walking that long.

I recently stayed at a hotel in a charming and quiet area of Rome, just a short walk from a metro station. The location was perfect, allowing me to easily access the city center and all its attractions. The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, with a friendly and helpful staff who made me feel welcome. The rooms were comfortable, and I especially appreciated the balcony, which offered a lovely view. The breakfast provided was satisfying, with a nice selection of food. this hotel offered great value for money and exceeded my expectations.
All aspects of my stay at this hotel were fantastic.

The hotel was clean, bright and welcoming. All the staff were really helpful and very willing to spend time explaining how to do whatever we were trying to do. All spoke English to a very high degree and could not have been friendlier. The room was clean, comfortable and warm and the breakfast provided everything one could want at the start of the day. There were a choice of restaurants in the area and an excellent pizzeria on the way to the Metro.
The hotel was about a 10 minute walk to the nearest Metro station which was only a problem if you were in a hurry, or the weather was awful (which it was while we were there!) Otherwise it was a pleasant walk. The only negative on our stay was the shower in our room. It took 5 minutes for hot water to reach us on the 3rd floor, by which time the shower tray was full and overflowing, so you had to turn off the showere and wait for the water to drain slowly away. Then hope to get hot water before the tray filled up again! But we got quite good at the process!

It was easy to get to and from the Metro. We spend the whole day out sightseeing, so other than a breakfast and a clean room, that is all we require.

This hotel offers great value for money with its affordable prices. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, providing us with maps and giving us any information we needed. The rooms were clean and cozy, and I especially loved the big balcony with a view of the street. The location of the hotel in a non-touristic neighborhood outside the center of Rome was perfect for a calm stay.
All was just as expected and there is nothing that could be improved.

Good three star hotel. Good rooms, nice batthroom, simple but fine breakfast. Very friendly staff. 5-7 minutes walking from metro where you can go to ancient Rome. Some parties all around Garbatello district at weekends if you like.
Can be noisy in certain rooms.

The hotel's location in a very nice neighborhood was perfect for exploring the city. It was just a short 10, minute walk to the nearest metro station, making it easy to get to the city centre even past midnight. the room and bathroom were spacious and well, maintained, and the service provided by the staff was excellent. the breakfast offered a good variety of options, including cereal, pastries, bread, and cakes. the hotel also had facilities such as lifts and a terrace, providing additional comfort and convenience.
The lack of a restaurant on, site meant that guests had to venture out for meals.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The room was good. They changed the towels and cleaned the room every day. If I have to choose to go to Rome again I will definitely choose hotel Derby. Good price, good location, nicest - good people :)
During the night it was a little bit noisy. I guess the street in front the hotel connects two neighborhoods or something like that, but it's not a big problem.
